With the 2020 General Election coming soon, W4C @IUPUI is working hard to encourage students at IUPUI to get out and vote! This committee will help students register to vote and navigate the election process.

ACTION ADVOCATES
Are you interested in learning more about state governments and how policy proposals are signed into law? Join Action Advocates to learn about and practice tracking bills through the Indiana General Assembly (IGA), writing to your legislators, and lobbying for issues you care about. IGA's Legislative Session begins January 2021. We plan to have our first meeting in November as an introduction to the ins and outs of local government with subsequent monthly meetings and optional activities at the State House throughout the spring semester. We look forward to advocating with you!

LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE COMMITTEE
In commemoration of Women's History Month, W4C @IUPUI holds an annual leadership conference in March. The leadership conference typically consists of a keynote address and multiple breakout sessions to equip attendees with the tools they need to be positive leaders on their campus and in their community. Committee members help plan event logistics, secure funding, and market the event.

COLLABORATION COMMITTEE
Would you be interested in advocating for women’s rights with other passionate college students around the Indianapolis area? Join our Collaboration committee, where we will focus on creating connections with other collegiate chapters of Women 4 Change Indiana, such as those at Butler and University of Indianapolis, as well as other IUPUI organizations that have similar interests! Our first meeting will be in November, and during this meeting we will discuss our goals for our committee and discuss options for breaking into subcommittees. We will have monthly meetings as a whole, and potential subcommittees will have monthly meetings in addition to the general meeting. All meetings and collaboration events will take place though Zoom. Help us to expand our organization through collaboration!
